Houge to represent District 5 on county board

Doug Houge was sworn in Friday, June 15, as commissioner for District 5. Houge won a special election Thursday, June 14, to serve the remainder of John "Jinx" Ferrari's term.
New Ferrari Livery

The Ferrari F2007 will be raced in a new and much improved livery for this weekend's Grand Prix of Monte Carlo. In the past, Ferrari changed their color scheme to that which better suited their Marlboro sponsor. Now the F2007 will return to proper Ferrari red.
Ferrari Still In Title Battle

Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt, states that Ferrari are by no means out of the World Championship battle, despite a run of disappointing performances recently. Todt points out that with twelve races remaining in the 2007 season, the Scuderia has the time and the ability to fight back and take both titles from McLaren.
Ferrari Is Closing In On McLaren

Ferrari are not the fastest team during testing this week at the Paul Ricard HTTT in France, though Felipe Massa is closing in on the dominant Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren. For the first time in 2007, Ferrari is not in complete control of testing which unfortunately comes at a very important time in the World Championship.

After Fernando Alonso earlier in the week admitted Ferrari have the advantage in the up coming Trans Atlantic, he has also told Ferrari that they will not have it all their own way either. Fernando has warned rivals Ferrari that the momentum is with McLaren, and they aim to keep it going.

Ferrari Slow In Monaco

McLaren proved to be the fastest team in Monaco during Thursday Free Practice, while Ferrari seemed to be struggling to keep up. Kimi Raikkonen was able to stay in check with Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, though he was still off their pace. More troubling was the fact that Felipe Massa was even further back on the timing sheets.
Disaster For Ferrari In Chaotic Grand Prix

It was a complete disaster for Ferrari in the Canadian Grand Prix, with Kimi Raikkonen only finishing 5th and Felipe Massa being disqualified for disobeying safety measures. The Grand Prix was chaotic and therefore very exciting, especially for sensation Lewis Hamilton who took his maiden victory. Not so much for Robert Kubica who amazingly survived a 170mph shunt with only a broken leg.
Ferrari In Trouble For Canada

It seems as though Ferrari is in trouble for the Canadian Grand Prix, after Raikkonen and Massa qualified 4th and 5th respectively, almost a second of the time set by the impressive Lewis Hamilton. Kimi and Felipe will certainly have to fight very hard to catch up to the McLaren duo of Hamilton and Alonso, and a victory will be even more of a challenge for the Scuderia.
Raikkonen Should Have Stayed At McLaren

Former Formula 1 World Champion and fellow countryman Mika Hakkinen, believes that Kimi Raikkonen made a mistake by leaving McLaren for Ferrari. Unlike many in the Formula 1 world Hakkinen attributes Kimi's recent run of poor performances more to being at Ferrari, a move which he believes Raikkonen did not think through fully.
Long Wheelbase Not A Problem

Former Ferrari Technical Director Ross Brawn does not believe that Ferrari's longer than average wheelbase will cause any problems for the team in Monaco. Brawn is certain that the numerous aerodynamice advantages of the long wheelbase, will overcome the trouble of a longer turning radius.

Ferrari drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa are confident ahead of Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, despite a rather slow start to the weekend during practice. The Scuderia is by no means out of contention, though it is clear that McLaren is very strong this weekend and that Raikkonen and Massa will have to push hard to close the gap.
